Our mission

The Refill Hvar – Pour It Up For Less Plastic initiative is a forward-thinking environmental project aimed at reducing single-use plastic bottles on Hvar Island, Croatia. Launched in January 2025 and set to run until January 2027, the project is spearheaded by the Moj Škoj Association in collaboration with the Association Sunce, the Municipality of Jelsa, and the Jelsa Tourist Board.

Who are we?

We’re a group of local associations who care deeply about Hvar—our home, our sea, and our community.

With Refill Hvar – Pour It Up for Less Plastic, we want to make it easy for you to drink safe, clean tap water and say no to single-use plastic bottles.

We’ve set up refill stations around municipality Jelsa and are working with local hosts to spread the word. Every refill helps protect the beauty of Hvar.

Join us—bring your bottle and refill it for free.
It’s a small act with a big impact.
